The Airez AI page reader
If you found this address in your server logs, it came from AIREZ-Audit. It reads the pages someone asked us to check, works out how ready that site is for AI assistants and search engines to read, and stops. Everything it does is below, including how to block it.
Identity
What it is and what it asks for
- User-Agent
- AIREZ-Audit/1.0 (+https://airezai.com/bot)
- What it requests
- For a score: the page someone typed and up to 3website: up to 25 pages of that site, found from its sitemap and links. No forms, no logins.
- When it runs
- Only when someone asks for a check, when an owner imports their own site, or on a schedule an owner switched on for their own site. There is no background crawl of the web.
- How often
- One page at a time, and it does not retry in a loop.
- What it stores
- For a score: the score and which checks passed. For an owner importing their own site: the text of those pages, in that owner's private workspace, for them to review. Nothing is republished.
If we are being blocked
How to allow the reader through
A firewall or bot-protection rule can refuse the reader, in which case the owner is told “your site is online but blocked our reader” rather than shown a score we could not measure. The same rule usually stops AI assistants reading the site too, so it is worth a look either way.
robots.txt
Only relevant if you disallow unknown agents. Adding this permits the reader without changing anything else.

Security → WAF → Custom rules. Add a Skip rule above your bot-fight rule so the reader is not challenged.

Most managed hosts (and Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy) will allowlist a named agent if you ask. This is the sentence to send them.

How to block it
Add the rule below to your robots.txt. The reader honours it, and an owner who checks their own site will simply be told the page could not be read — never a score we did not measure.
